Self Propelled Stump GrindersWe started developing Engine Powered stump grinders back in 2011 and have been testing through local rental for many years. In 2014 we branded them as Holt where we have some action pictures and videos. The exact same machine now again is being offered through our Baumalight dealer network as a self contain stumpgrinder to add to our range of attachment stump grinders for tractors, skidsteers, excavators as well as walk behind.
The concave shaped carbide tip of our High-Speed Teeth provide aggressive cutting action by chipping the brush bit by bit. Simply loosen the lock nut and rotate the tooth to a fresh, sharp cutting edge. This can be done three times, extending the life of each tooth. The stump grinder is powered by a 35 HP. - Kohler 999 cc Gas Engine. Easy access controls will help you to see the action of the cutting wheel and stand away from the debris. A chain curtain is provided to contain the debris. The rotor size is 19”, working at a maximum pressure of 3500 PSI. The cutting wheel speed is 1800 RPM.

- The Self Propelled Stump Grinder comes with 3 free replacement teeth and 1 extra teeth holder. These replacement teeth can be conveniently stored in the spare tool compartment.
- Easy access controls well label and positioned so you can see the action of the cutting wheel and stand away from the debris.
- Direct driven by a Bent Axis Piston motor which is the most efficient motor available. This will give the best power transfer available through hydraulics and eliminates the need for belts and pulleys.
- The lift and swing cylinders are heavy duty and oversized for more precise movement. The hoses are double shielded for better protection
